Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect only what you give us and only what we need to have a conversation about your business. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with brokers or buyers, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your saying so.
What we collect
Information you submit. When you use our contact form or valuation tool, we collect the name, email address, phone number, revenue range and message you enter. You choose what to provide. You can have a first conversation with us without identifying your company.
Information collected automatically. Our analytics record aggregate data such as pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, and device type. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser. This site carries no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers beyond that.
Bot protection. Form submissions are screened automatically for spam before they reach us. This uses the contents of the submission and the network request that carried it.
The valuation calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are not transmitted to us unless you choose to send them with the contact form.
How we use it

What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information
- We do not share the fact that you contacted us, or any detail about your business, with brokers, competitors, other buyers or anyone else without your permission
- We do not disclose your identity in the course of evaluating a transaction except to advisers bound to confidentiality, and only once you have agreed
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and our email: Netlify (hosting, contact form delivery and spam screening) and Google (Workspace email, Google Analytics). Each processes data on our behalf. We also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
Inquiry records are retained for as long as they are relevant to a potential or ongoing transaction, and then for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. You may ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing K@72northcapital.com. We will act on the request. You can also block cookies in your browser; the site works without them.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and advisers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
